On Berita Harian!!!!!!!
I am on the Saturday Berita Harian!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooohooooooooooo!!!!!
Well, it has not been easy to perform on the job. And not to say that I have been the best staff. Plus, work is tiring. It is worse when you can no longer respect some people you work for. Well, if all goes well, I will be out by June. Just a few more months of waiting. At least the above assured me a little something for the resume, not to mention the masters application.
I would really have liked to go back to NUS to study. I realise now the world-class standard of education we have been provided in there; not trying to sell it as the brand, but it is true! Notwithstanding some of the inevitable bad stuff, it is still a great place. But funding for the higher degree is non-negotiable for me, so I have to settle for something a bit less.
The question on my mind is, will I get used to student's life once again? While work has been less than happy for me, I have done pretty well by most feedback. To the extent that I suspect some ideas stolen from me. Well, I suppose copying is the best form of flattery. And I do detect a certain amount of envy at times, although not all are in bitterness, thankfully.
And after masters, where do I go from there? Some of the long-standing issues still bug me from time to time. But I guess that is a worry for another day.
