Historian Day??? Hahaha :)

Just came back from 2 outings and I must say that I haven't enjoyed myself as much for a long time :) So, even though I'm really very exhausted by now, I just wanna blog abt them, to savor that general feeling of wellness and happiness.

In the afternoon I went for the postponed photo taking with my squadmates in St. Nicks. So paiseh to realise that I have been MIAing from squad activities for so long! The 1st thing they noticed abt me was that I have changed my hairstyle...more executive, they thot! Haha not that I wanna be in the executive position, but thanks for the compliments, gals!

We tried lotsa style of photo taking, amateurs though we are. Like taking the reflection of ourselves in mirrors, posing ala Harry Potter with giant chess pieces and the solo picts beside "Ying Shui Si Yuan". Will upload the photos as soon as they send me the picts...cos I din bring camera as usual hahahah. I like them lots!

It was so good to be back in our 2nd home, as we always call SNG. Although the school compound has of course changed since our departure years ago, it still hold lovely memories for all of us. We excitedly recalled our meetings at the Sec 4 level bench as seniors in SJAB, footdrill trainings in the mornings and afternoons, sleeping in the compound during camp and using the teacher's staffroom to bathe. Ooh, those were the carefree days! I remembered telling Jeanette before that I love being with them becos they are always able to make me go back to such days where certain probs and worries dun exist yet. We din use to appreciate the little fine touches in small corners of the school like the many Chinese calligraphy hung around the walls, the many couches and benches available to simply relax...the other places we go to after we graduate neva seem to "belong" to us like these places did.

By the time I went down to City Hall to meet the fellow historians, I was already very bushed. My squadmates were very stoned when I left them too. Din know photo taking can be so tiring! I was at 1st considering not going to meet the historians cos I needed rest desperately. But I'm glad I did cos I had so much fun!

You wouldn't believe the number of coincidences we encountered! I was just coming out of the MRT when I bumped into Ziqian, who just left from a drink party organised by Derrick! Then as some other and I were waiting for everyone to assemble, Derrick himself came along with Joo Cheong. It would have been more fun seeing u, mister, if u hadn't been trying to take revenge for the many shovings I dealt u in the past by shoving me so many times! Hmph. Anyway I guess u r making up for it, so...hahaha. We then bumped into Ziqian again in Curry Favor, where we went for dinner in the end! Then the strangest thing was that, we bumped into Sam and his gf outside while waiting for a table there! Woah! Now u can't beat that, can't u??? Sam, if u r reading this, we all think ur gf is very sweet and that both of u r so compatible! Heehee :)

The dinner was nice! Shu Huei's suggestion is great! Then we hatched the ploy for Pearl's birthday surprise. She was really surprised when we led her to Secret Recipe at Suntec, with a lot of purposed delay in the road there to stall time for Keong and Shizhi to prepare. Kekekekeke.

We were all saying that we shd make this some kinda tradition, to meet up every weekend whenever possible, to just chill out from work etc. Hai...it was really like back in the 4th year all over again! Hope to see u guys a lot cos it seems like I can really be myself with u guys :)
