My Nonsense

We r gonna have yet another ktv session on Mon instead of steamboat... excited! But my high tea session with my cousins is pushed to another day. Guess it wouldn't have been good to sing on a full stomach anyway hahaah.

Bought a fiction based on the Biblical story of Queen Esther. It's called "Hadassah: One Night With the King". I have only read the 1st few pages but it apparently interweave a modern twist with the Old Testament version....highly captivating even in the beginning! Apparently the novel has been made into a major motion pict oso. And hehe bought my denim Bible too...all at a discount. It's a good time to shop!

Hanged abt at Gelare at Citylink Mall last nite. Hmm... I dunno if I sound insincere or have I ever said or done anything to the contrary, but I dun hate guys, even after certain not so positive experiences with them. I suppose I can't be said to be very experienced in the dating field in the 1st place, but I see them more as learning experiences which will help me look out for possible pitfalls and help me be a better partner in the future. I had undergone some periods of guy bashing, but overall I agree with Weijin that S'pore guys r not as bad as some opinions have been making them out to be. True, they do need a bit more polishing in some aspects, but in all cases we must bear in mind individual differences and quirks and not use sweeping statements to dismiss all of them as longkang fishes etc.

In any relationships, while there will certainly be lovely times, bad times r inevitable as well. The key is learning to understanding e other party and work out ur differences. In cases where there r no insurmountable differences, don't see differences in thots and opinions as barriers. Think of them as opportunities to better understand ur partner's stand on things and ur own. Easing into any relationship is neva easy, but dun be pessimistic :) Insecurity is often a bigger killer in a relationship than anything else. Therefore be positive! Hehe I'm beginning to sound like some motivational speaker :p

To end off hor, I just wanna say that Shizhi & Keong r both very bo-liao beings! They saw me arrive at the MRT, but decided to hide and not show that they were there already, presumably to see if I will do something embarrassing in the process of waiting for them! Thank God I redeemed myself by being extra quick in my sensory abilities and felt them out in the crowd within seconds! haha...but thanks a million guys for making my day!
