Surprise gift
I have been swept in this avalanche of busy-ness for the past two weeks. Rushing my article for the inaugural edition of the church's newsletter, finding out more about printing of the newsletter and the liaising involved, entertaining guests from the neighboring country that my a part of my ancestors migrated to, in addition to my normal work.
Praise God that everything had fallen more or less into place, especially when I had thought that I would not have been able to finish everything on time. Learnt a thing or two about some individuals' characters as well. Oh well, I am no longer the naive girl but I hate some behavior all the same.
Last night, I had the biggest surprise. My guests left one of the purchases they were carrying in the car after dropping off at the hotel and told me they were for me before giggling and running away. Inside were Alexander McQueen shower gel and body lotion, Bvlgari perfume and a small vanity mirror. Wah...really paiseh to see that. I don't think I have done much, but I am glad it made a difference.
