Exam and a Bad Day
Yesterday was the first exam I've had in a long, long time. Not that I ever missed it, but it sure was not as difficult as I had feared. Especially given the terribly obvious hints :) Nevertheless, one cannot congratulate oneself early, if at all, especially when she has 5 modules to juggle and an ailing body to complement.
Anyway I arrived in school early only to have the right foot of my old Havaianas sandal broke! If you ever look on at those handicapped person limp in disdain, well, try it yourself. It sure ain't chicken feed. It took me about 5 minutes to walk a distance I would normally cover in about 2 minutes or less. Thankfully the Central Forum has stalls even during the exam break. A vendor actually helped me sew back the shoes. That was the longest 10 min I've waited for some time. The embarrassment was excruciating, waiting with the right foot shoe-less. Anyway, it got done in the end and I am throwing it away at the earliest convenience.
Oh to go back to a frustrating event earlier, I got tagged at Facebook, which was something I expressly told some ppl (but not the tagger, apparently) not to do. To explain, there are many un-savoury former colleagues of Mister and I, who loves to pry into our relationship. Some individuals have spread the gossip so far that I don't even care to find out and one of them commented on my Facebook because of the photo tagging. Find it a terrible invasion of privacy (I know Facebook affords none, which was why I am extremely careful about what I do up there). TMD. That spoilt the rest of the day effectively. That, Weijin, was why I took down my comment on your Facebook the other day. Sorry about that.
And a classmate seemed unhappy still that I flew her kite yesterday. I think I should not be kind and organise anymore discussion group nor volunteer for anything anymore in the future.
I also suffered sleepless night after going to someone's house and be subjected to well-intentioned session on how to conduct my Event, based on her daughter's experience. Look, I think I've researched enough (and far more than her daughter or most people ever did) to be an Event Planner in the future. And for my own, I've definitely done more preparation than anyone thought possible from this quiet little girl. So if ppl could spare me future suggestions, I would be grateful. Esp given my current health condition.
