New...
Hello! It's been ages since my last posting. Well, work has been occupying far too much of my time than I like, but well, such is the common complaint in the fast-paced environment of our sunny island. I wish for time to myself a lot... especially when some people don't seem to understand the need for a separation of work and personal life, which I guard jealously. I also get disillusioned easily especially seeing that greed for fame and money can so easily ensnare people of our age. But I guess I am learning to put things into perspective. At the same time, I am still much blessed with those who care abt me and all the material stuff.
For an update, last week I decided to give love a chance, after much praying and waiting upon the Lord. Let's surrender every step henceforth to God and see where it leads us to.
Hope to blog more. I really have to get back into the whole regime, which I miss. Anyone going for the Alumni Mooncake festival on 14 Sept?
By the way for those who love good food and like the idea of donating to social causes, do check out this little diner: http://www.foodforthought.com.sg/hello.html I highly recommend the desserts (still dreaming of the brownie and apple spice cake) and the chicken caesar salad! Prices are reasonable too :)

Mother's Day

I got an iPod Nano!!! (the white one th0) Free!!! Yup Dad apparently got this as a gift and not knowing how to use the PC, he gave it to me. Now I gotta learn how to operate it without violating anti-piracy laws (oops...am I shooting myself in the foot or what??)
Mom flew over here and we celebrated Mother's Day together with some of the relatives. Dined at the Bosses restaurant (黑社会) at Vivocity. The restaurant offers a great view of the sea, however it was so full that we did not get to sit at the scenic side. The dim sum offered by the restaurant looked very inviting, however we could not get any as they were out of stock apparently. The decor was nice...I really liked the black-themed restaurant, especially with the black lanterns (I noticed that I have this fetish for lamps in general). We walked out to the balcony later and the view of Sentosa Island at night, with the brightly-lit cable cars and the balmy sea breeze blowing pleasantly in your face was really romantic. An idea for lovers out there.
